Whether on a difficult climb or leading a group, we find that we are constantly required to access and evaluate our ability to learn, work together and improve how we perform in the outdoors. Come join us as we immerse ourselves in the following adventures:

Wilderness Backpacking

This multi-day trip serves as a platform for learning the right gear, clothing and planning that goes into making a great backpacking adventure. We venture far into the wilderness to experience some fantastic and breathtaking rugged coast mountain terrain. We practice and perfect map reading skills, camp set ups, group leadership and learn a multitude of practical skills like proper trail technique, water treatment, safe river crossing and so much more!

6 Days

Squamish Rock Climbing

Rock-on! Get acquainted with some vertical spaces and acquire, develop and fine tune your technical skills as we climb some of the best granite in North America. We’ll challenges ourselves on some stellar routes and get more proficient in anchor systems, belaying and rappelling as well as crack, face and slab climbing technique. You will also learn a host of other skills related to climbing such as safety, efficiency and good rope management.

6 Days

Gulf Island Sea Kayaking

A fantastic and extended sea-faring adventure in one of BC’s best sea kayaking destinations. After a scenic ferry to our location, we’ll camp, paddle and explore some phenomenal and rugged coastlines around the Southern Gulf Islands. We’ll be applying advanced navigation techniques as we study the tides and currents, as well as the wind and weather patterns that are crucial to a safe and rewarding sea kayaking expedition.

Alpine Mountaineering

Strenuous and challenging, this expedition is built on previous backcountry skills to take you into the mountains. After a day of careful planning and preparation, we will drive up to the Coquihalla summit and ascend to our campsite to set up shop. Our days will be filled with a lot of training that will include snow travel technique, ice axe use, self belay and self arrest methods, snow anchors, avalanche awareness and so much more!

6 Days

Snowshoe winter camping

On this rugged multi-day mountain trip, we make our way into the high country and practice proper snowshoeing travel technique, winter camping skills, and good route finding methods. We will combine both tents and snow caves for our campsites and learn the fine art of living in the mountains in the middle of winter… in Canada. Something to write home about!

5 days

river lake canoe expedition

This extended trip will take your paddling skills to a whole new level, as we navigate some pristine bodies of water. We’ll start off by planning and packing for our expedition, then drive to our put in. We’ll develop our navigation skills, our paddling strokes and our canoe camping methods, as we travel from big lake to river system. Pristine and scenic, a phenomenal journey you’ll remember for sure!

Caving adventure

We spend 3 day-sessions exploring, navigating and worming our way through 2 separate caving systems, practice rescue scenarios, leadership development and the technical skills to work our way out of tight Situations. You’ll get familiar with the gear, terminology, techniques and rock formations that make spelunking such a unique sport. Batteries included!

Challenge Course training

This training takes place over the course of the program and covers various team building elements and how to facilitate them effectively and safely. We’ll take time to go over the process for working through the low challenge course, then get into the technical and safety skills needed to be up on the high ropes elements. You’ll have a chance to work through some group challenges as well as experience joy of breaking through some personal mental barriers 40 or so feet in the air!
